Help Time without signal

I happened to be checking the battery usage and I noticed that there was 72% without signal. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm a tad confused about what you mean.

From the home screen, click the menu button and go to settings. From there go down to the bottom of the menu and select about phone. Then go to battery. Next click battery use. You should see a list of what has been using the battery. If one of the options is cell standby, click it. Look to see if there is time without signal.

On battery saver mode and smart mode, they turn off cellular data after however many minutes of not being used. That's probably the case with your phone.

This is true, but that is only the data aspect of it. It does not disable the cellular connection.
