I manage mobility for my company. We have recently transitioned from BlackBerry to Android, specifically the Galaxy S5, S5 Active, and Alpha models.
Here's the thing that has both me and our MDM administrator stumped:
In Settings, there is an option called "Lock screen". Some of my users have a maximum timeout of 14.5 minutes, some have a maximum of 13 minutes, others max out at 5 minutes. These times are not model specific as I am restricted to 5 minutes on my S5 and the Admin has a timeout max of 14.5 minutes on his S5.
We've looked high and low to find where we can standardize this for all users, but no joy.
Anyone out there have any ideas on where we look to fix this? Let me know if you need any more information.
