Thom VIP Member Mar 15, 2016 #4 It does that. In Timer mode the Volume Up button will start the countdown and also stop it. Volume Up will then resume the countdown. When the timer expires tapping Volume Up will start the countdown again. If you tap Volume Up stopping the countdown you can then tap Volume Down to reset the timer. This is the app I use.
