Help Timer won't shut off

I've found that the alarm on the stock clock/timer app won't shut off without rebooting the phone, if I leave the main app screen to use the phone for other functions while the timer is running. If i leave the timer in the foreground, it shuts off fine when i press the "ok" acknowledgement.
I've contacted LG about it, but haven't heard anything back.

Just got an incremental update from LG via AT&T, and after clearing the app data, the timer now shuts off as it should. - Maybe it would have prior to the update if I'd have cleared the data.
