Apps Timers

Hello everyone,

Which timer function is easier to work with in self developed app? The one used in Java or importing the one from android.os.CountDownTimer? I want to use it in a current program I am writing that counts down until something is pressed correctly. Please help!

What kind of timer do you need? Do you need something to happen after a certain amount of time?

yes, it's a two player game, when the timer runs down to 0 it changes turns and continues back and fourth...

Why not use a Timer/TimerTask combo?
