I'm not a new Xperia x10 user I've had mine since Nov. 2010. But on Jan. 1st my Xperia x10 kicked the bucket and had to be replaced. My new Xperia x10 is updated with 2.1 (my old one was also updated to 2.1). My issue is that I can send text fine and I can receive text, I just don't get notified and they don't show up in messaging they show up in Timescape. I can't figure out why it's doing this. My old Xperia x10 didn't do this. Can anyone help me??

There may be an issue with your messaging application. Try this:
Main Menu > Settings > Applications > Menu Button > Filter > All > Messaging > Clear Data.
If this does not work then I would advise running a software repair:
