Hi chaps,

I wanna load TinyXP on a old laptop of mine.
Basically i want to know if i can simply turn the laptop on, format it, partition it, put the iso image cd in the cd drive, and upload the new software as simple as that.

Or am i gonna have to access the hardrive through another computer to formatt, and partition it to upload TinyXP.

Never done anything like this before, but after using android, i wanting everything i use to be a quick and as awesome!!

Thanks in advance.......

You cant boot into the OS and format the OS partition, it wont let you as you cant destroy the partition that you are using. However most os install discs let you boot off of them, allowing you to do whatever you want to the hard drive. So put the disc in the computer, if you can boot off of it it will say press any key to boot from disc, do that and then you can do all that stuff you wanted.

At least you should be able to, never used tinyxp myself.,,

From what I understand, TinyXP uses the same installer as regular XP, so formatting is part of the install process.
