Root Tips needed... Rooting my almost Transformer

I have a Transformer like tablet. Same hardware (nearly), same OS (provided by ASUS). One problem is that it has no volume control buttons.
I tried the nachoroot method bit it fails at the "/dev/local.profile " or "Step 2" process through adb. See http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/0...nsformer-prime-even-with-the-newest-firmware/
If anyone has another idea, I am willing to try.

u can try vipermod. I could not gain root on my trasformer with nachoroot or any other method. Might be worth a shot

Use viperMOD, but use the transformer prime method. If you mess it up, not our fault. (just disclaimer)
