Root Titanium Backup Issue

I have the RAZR MAXX and have gotten "like new refurb'd" replacements. Since ICS when I restore all my apps+data, my home and search keys no longer work. I get the haptic feedback but not action. It is very frustrating. The only way I know how to resolve this is doing a FDR and restoring the Apps only and manually restoring each app's data manually one at a time. I don't restore all the app's data, just the apps that I have info stored. Like Facebook, Email accounts, Instagram etc. etc. I have emailed TB with this problem but have yet to receive an answer.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and wanted to know how you fixed this issue?

oh, I am rooted(Matts 1.7 utility), I am stock, and use ADWLauncher.

I'm not a TiBu user so I can't help but perhaps others in the root section can.
