It was really weird. Most of my root apps were fine (cachemate, adfree etc) but when I went into TiBu it was denied superuser access.
After about an hour of playing around with clearing the cache, stoping and restarting both Tibu and superuser I remembered I installed Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper. I went into it and the "device rooted" box was not checked. So, I clicked the root button and viola - all appeared normal again.
I did have to go back into manage apps and clear the cache one more time for TiBu before it was granted access but life is good again.
Just wanted to post this in case it happens to someone else.
and Props to VOODOO!!
