Titanium Backup: User data

Hi, I have the free version of Titanium Backup Root on my Samsung Captivate running Android 2.2. I did the Batch Mode "Backup all user apps+system data". And then restored it with "all apps with data" on another replacement captivate phone with 2.2. Everything went though fine, but I did not see the user data such as my photos from older phone copied to the new phone. Does the Titanium Backup Root not back up the user data such as pictures? thanks.

TB does not back up your photos and music. I back that stuff up directly to my PC.

Does Titanium backup SMS messages?

I had to restore a backup from a week ago but before I did I "backed up all user apps + system data" thinking I was ok. After the restore I noticed that I am missing those days of SMS messages, any thoughts?

you need to realize that TB is for APPS ONLY, for everything else (contacts, texts, browser bookmarks etc.) you need separate solutions
