Root Titanium Backup

So I have detached a few apps from the market so I can ignore their updates, but after rebooting the phone those apps I've detached from the market are reattached and asking to be updated. Why does the market detachment not stick?

As far as I know I've got the latest version of TB. Running DU 4.4.4 but the same thing happened on Cataclysm.

1- Uninstall apps.
2- Goto the play store, my apps, all, remove the apps that have a X next to them.
3- delete the files in the Titanium Backup folder.
4- Run Titanium and do a new backup of all the remaining apps.

I have apps I want to continue to use but ignore any future updates.

I think what you are telling me to do is remove apps I no longer have installed from my app list. I don't care about that.
