TMo data processed differently?

Hi everyone,

Back when I was on Sprint I was using around 400-500MB data per month. Switched to TMo (same phone except GSM) and now my usage is like 600, sometimes even 700MB per month. My usage patterns haven't changed. Back in the day when I was using a BBRY on Sprint I used about 300MB, and that was probably a mix of BBRY data compression + I was using the phone a lot less because the browser was a pain. But I can't explain why the SAME phone on two different networks would yield different usage patterns.

Thanks!

I'm not sure how data could be counted differently, 500MB of transferred data is 500MB.

One possibility - it could be caused by system updates and Google Play updates. Also, I'm guessing your new phone has different apps on it, they might be constantly updating so you could check their settings.

I wonder if speed differences might have anything to do with it. While you usage patterns may not have changed (in terms of time using the phone), because of faster speeds you might be using more data in the same amount of time.
