Root [TMobile] can you get t-mobile s5 to work with metro easily?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I searched here and on google with no definitive answer. If there is a way to do this, how hard would it be and would everything work on it as if it were the s5 made for metro? Thanks

you can flash a metro rom, but if your looking to get metro service on the tmobile device you need to take it to a metro store to get it activated

most roms available are universal anyway but flashing a metro rom on a tmobile device should work fine

On another note. I've tried with another phone to activate a non metro pcs phone and it was like pulling teeth. Has anyone done thisyet?

i've never personally done it, but i know metro has been promoting that they will take at&t & t mobile phones and give them service...

The metro and tmo gs5 are pretty much the same phone running on the same towers so they're will be no problem making it work on metro as long as etfs were paid

sooo why exactly was this moved? If anything it should have been moved to the Metropcs one. Atleast one of the mods who moved it could have given an explenation in the OP.

i didn't move this one myself, but at the moment we do not have a fub-forum for MetroPCS and in the title of the thread both Tmobile and MetroPCS are both mentioned and TMobile is mentioned first so maybe that's why it got put into the TMobile sub-forum...
We can move it into the MetroPCS sub-forum if/when we get if you feel it would be best served there?

I understand. I jumped to conclusions thinking there was a metro pcs galaxy s5 sub forum as well. Too bad there isnt. Anyways thanks for the reply back and hopefully the metro community will get some love.
