Tmobile captivate

Hey guys, I have an unlocked Captivate. I was looking all over the website and could not find the question to my answer, so here it goes.

Is there any way that my 3G can work on my captivate with my TMobile accnt. I got the phone about 4 or 5 days a go, been on EDGE since then, plz let me know if there is a way.

I've seen (here?) that even though it works for 2G that it just won't work for 3G...

I'm sure there is a better reference but if you look at the AT&T and T-Mobile Wikipedia articles for Radio Frequency you can see that they don't use the same frequencies for 3G...

T-Mobile uses 1700Mhz/2100Mhz for 3G

Matt's right, it's impossible to get T-Mobile 3G on the Captivate. You would be better off selling the Captivate and just getting the Galaxy S 4G from T-Mobile.
