Tmobile web&walk bundles

Hi Folks,

It maybe a stupid question, but is it really necessary to have the web&walk plus data bundle, at present I have just the standard bundle(I get my G1 on Sat.)???

I'm asking as I have read on the web that you cannot initially activate your gmail accounts without the web&walk plus bundle.

Can anyone confirm this??

You do need the web n walk option (not necessarily the Plus or Max options though the standard WnW should suffice) as you have heard correct and I don't think T Mo will sell you one without it either.

Well if you look on the Tmobile UK website, it says "Important a Web&walk Plus account is needed"

Maybe they just want everyone on the most expensive package-hm

All I can say is Fresnel is that I am on the standard WnW and it works fine without any issues? maybe worth giving CS a call if there is still some doubt, but I can only confirm my experience and everything is tickety boo

SO, acquired my phone on Saturday and has been working perfectly on the standard bundle!
Just Tmobile trying to get everyone onto there most expensive bundle I guess-hm

Anyway I'm happy.....great phone.
