To case or not ?

I am curious how many people are willing to go naked.
The S7 edge just looks too good but is expensive?
Cases are difficult to pocket when cased?
Phone is too slippery without a case?
How about just a holster?
Get serious with heavy duty cases (like otter box or other) ?
Commando?

I just snagged mine and I'm using the Zagg HD Dry with the front and back covers. The back has a nice matte finish so it's not nearly as slippery. I'd never put something like this in an Otterbox.

I have never had a case for a phone in my life.

And I've never dropped or damaged a phone either.

And I didn't WANT one for the S7 -- this is a particularly beautiful phone, and I love how sleek it looks and feels.

But, the damned thing has slid out of my hands a few times -- always on soft surfaces -- but it has been harder to keep in hand than any phone I've ever owned. (And even if I never drop it, I wouldn't be surprised if the cat could bat it off the table.) I put the Caseology Skyfall on it and feel much more comfortable about it.

It isn't quite as gorgeous with a hunk of plastic on it, but I'm pretty sure it'll survive daily use now.

I generally don't use cases, but this phone is way too slippery, and the back is a fingerprint magnet. I put a Spigen clear TPU case on it. Much easier to grip, more comfortable to hold, and the silver back still shows through. Not quite as special looking, but it still looks good. And I'm not going to drop it 5 times a day.

I've always used an Otter Box Commuter case, a Zagg Shield HD screen protector and holster for all my phones. For the first time, since buying a smart phone, I was going between not using a case or screen protector because of how beautiful this phone is. But after paying almost $700 for it, it was an easy choice. So I have a VRS Design transparent thin case and a holster for my S7. I'm having a hard time finding a good tempered full coverage glass screen protector for it.

I put a Spigen neo-hybrid on mine and it looks just as good as it is without a case (in my opinion). The only problem I have is that it doesn't allow my headphones jack through the case, but it's a nice case with decent grip.

A drill & bit should take care of that & leave it looking decent.
If it comes out a little rough,a deburring tool or X-Acto knife should tidy it up w/little effort.
