to "old" for Duke Nukem

I guess one of us is, gave the GF 12yo son Duke Nukem Forever, brand new in the box for the 360 [$10 ebay], looks at all confused, sets it down and goes and plays minecraft........ didn't even open it.

now someone may cry foul that its M17 rating, he plays worse games, least Duke is fighting for his country when he oogles half naked strippes and curses like a sailor.

What?!?! Ugh. Youth. Lol. I loiived that game! I used to get all freaked out by the jumping mosters. Great times! The boobies weren't bad neither lol
 
I think Duke Nukem Forever was to PC gaming, is the same as what the BlackBerry Playbook or the Fusion Garage JooJoo was to tablets. A very prolonged development, with great hype and expectations, and then in the end it failed to deliver. Duke Nukem Forever was almost vapourware for over a decade.
 
I bought it for ol' time sake, knowing it was supposed to be pants. It was. Nearly 20 years in development and certainly looking every day of the 20 years old. I gave up on it pretty quickly.

^ gonna grab the PC version for $5, I hear its 10x better then console.

Oh man how I felt even older, trying to explain to him was lag is. Kid only knows about blazing fast high speed internet that never drops out.
