I upgraded my phone from a galaxy s2 to a galaxy s3, how do I transfer games and apps back and forth between the two?

When you are logging in to the new device there should be an option to perform a backup retrieval from your Google Account. This also works for if you need to perform a factory reset of the device at a later time.

On a side note about that, if you think that an application is causing your device to malfunction and a complete reset is the only cure, be sure to pay attention as the applications are reloading so you can cancel the install and avoid a repeat situation.

If you are rooted you can use Titanium backup to save whatever app data you want to save and put it on the sd card you use with the S3. Simply put the S3 card in the S2 and backup the data and then transfer the card back to the S3 and recover data.
