to view system folder in my rooted galaxy ace

i want to view my system folder in my samsung galaxy ace gingerbread 2.3.4 rooted phone.
i already installed es file explorer and checked to view system folder,but it doesn't show any such folder.
iam also installed root explorer but it is not working.
anyone pls help.......
