Tomb Raider

A lot of the reviews say the controls leave something to be desired... how are they working out for you?

I heave really strange problem with this game on my Zenfone 5 (A501CG with the latest version of Android 4.4.2).

For unknown reason, Tomb Raider runs only with original, low quality textures (like in original PC version from 96'). There is no way to enable new HQ texture set. I bought this game via Google Play, tried to download and reinstall it couple times, but still it looks the same.

I have no idea what can cause that problem, since my phone can handle many other games and run them smoothly on max details. It's even funnier, because everyone claims, that it is impossible to change from HQ texture set to original.

Should look like this:

Any ideas if it is possible to fix that issue?

An issue with certain devices probably. Asus Zenfone 5 is a relatively uncommon phone, not too much on AF for it. It's all OK and works as it should on Oppo Find 7 though. This has only just been released, version 1.0, etc. Tomb Raider is a nineteen year old game, but Android is a new platform for it. Email the devs. probably the best bet.

Originally Tomb Raider back in '96 used software 3D rendering when I played on my PC. And then I got my big deal one day....

...and there was a patch released that allowed Tomb Raider to make full use of it. :)

I liked playing this game on PS when I was a child and hoped that it will be enjoyable on Android, but the control turned out to be too uncomfortable...
