I have created my first Android App, called MobCable, which allows users to download and upload files to their phone, using a web browser (even without Wi-Fi)


The app gives a secret code, which the user must enter in a browser on their computer at http://www.mobcable.com and then the user can browse their Android device.

The code invalidates after 15 minutes, after the app has been closed.

The App is free and should work for Android devices using api 1.5 and above.

The app and web site supports
* View content from your phone, using a web browser
* Works even without a Wi-Fi connection
* Download and upload files
* Download Zip files with multiple files
* Supports file transfers without Wi-Fi
* Auto detects if phone can be reached without Wi-Fi
* View thumbnails before downloading


I created the app, because I could not find any other file explorer apps, which supported file transfers without a local Wi-Fi connection.
