You just need 7 keys to type all alphabets, numbers and some symbols.
You get a letter or a word from a key you press and a key you release.
Keys are arranged based on letter frequency. What you use more is located in easier position. However, it's still about alphabetical order.
Haptic feedback will give you some hints. So it's possible to type without eyes.
