the screen is bigger, the battery and time on the bar at the top is gone, what do i do to get it back

Hey there, this sounds like a pretty interesting issue.
Im wondering, do the images (icons, wallpaper, fonts) on your phone look enlarged as well, or is it looking normal?
If it looks normal, then check your laucnhers settings and see if it has the option to hide your status bar enabled.
If this isnt the case, you can try and restart your phone and your status bar should come back.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums.
Some launchers give you the option to hide the status bar as Boneface mentioned. Going into settings/ apps and deleting the launcher data will undo any changes you have made with the launcher.
Have you by chance tried changing the DPI for your device?
Another option, and you will lose all your data, is to do a factory reset. That would be the last option I tried but it will work for sure. UNLESS that is, you have hardware malfunction or failure.
