Topsy Turvey

I went camping on the 12th and came back on the 15th. I noticed that every time I went out on my porch, since I've returned, there are two little birds that chirp at me but don't fly away. I live on the second floor of an apartment, so I was looking up into the rafters to see if they had built a nest, they hadn't. So I dismissed it.

Then, today, I went to water the jalapeno that I have growing in a Topsy Turvey, and one of the birds flew out and started yelling at me again.

So I hop up on the railing, and take a gander inside:

Silly little birdies.

That's because you don't have enough soil in that Turvy...supposed to fill soil up to 2" from the top.



...Just ate my 2nd Turvy tomato yesterday. So much more flavor than those at the supermarket.
