Torrent IP Filter?

This is my first post and want to say hi.

I'm here cause I'm in the dark regarding phone security. What are the security/rights concerns that you have to take into consideration when downloading certain files to you phone? I mean seriously, downloading to a desktop seems normal but to a phone... it just feels wrong. Are there any ip filters or the like available?

Can anyone give a crash course on the phone network process/protocols? I understand computers fine, nic/mac/ip/routing/etc but def clueless about phones and hoping to get a better understanding.

Has anyone heard of anyone getting in trouble for downloading files of a certain nature to phones?

I am not aware of any IP filter app or update to any app. I would suggest contacting the Dev's for all the mobile Torrent apps and asking for a simpe IP filter setting. It could be as easy as a .txt file with IP's listed.

I just wish I understood phones better. Writing a VBA IP filter script is so easy on a comp... I guess its about time to start learning how to program for droids.
