This seller on Craiglist is selling this laptop for $275 called Toshiba Qosmio

What he said on post:
Seeking to sell this Toshiba Qosmio Laptop that I only recently got.

No one has ever used this notebook.

Got this as a gift. I don't need another notebook. I need to sell. Top rated by cnet!

If he is selling this for $275 I'll buy it for $275 these go for over $1300 brand new.

What do you think about this?

It kinda of sounds fishy to me it might be stolen computer...... I just might not.....

I'm just waiting for the seller to respond back to me....

$275 is low. Too low. If I was in the same position and someone 'gave' me a new laptop (that I didn't need) I'd still sell it for about 70% from the current retail price. They say never/lightly used and it may go for $1300 new however, ask them how long they've had it and what the specific model & specs are. Compare that to Toshiba's current lineup to see if they are indeed selling a current model.

I'm covering all angles here and one thing that has been in the news lately is people luring a buyer in, then taking the cash by force. Now, I'm not trying to say this is the case but $275 for a new $1300 laptop ...you really have to question this.

I just wanted you to know, animeware, that I edited your thread title only to clarify that you are seeking opinion on the computer price. ;)

At first glance, the way it was previously titled had the appearance of you wanting to sell a computer (thus my click-in to move the thread to our Classifies section if you were actually selling).

It is possible that it was stolen or is an outdated model in bad condition. I'd stay away from it unless you can prove both of these wrong.

Edit: If you're going to edit my posts, at least have it make grammatical sense.
