Hi and welcome to Android Forums.
I've not even heard of Total Equip Protection, in all honesty. I use Lookout and it has never steered me wrong. It allegedly has a very high detect rate on viruses too.
For that reason, i'd go with Lookout. A very user-friendly interface too.
