Touch Buttons malfunction

Hi y'all,

I have an issue with my touch buttons. They aren't responding anymore, rest of the touch screen works without problems. Already checked the cables on the motherboard but they all seem to be connected properly. Also hard reseted, still not working.

Anyone has a clue how to NOT have to work with annoying on screen buttons?

It's a non rooted and non-rommed L70.

Hi, it seems like there's nothing related to software. I would suspect a hardware problem. If it happened suddenly, maybe your phone was dropped into water some time ago and this is the effect? Is your touch screen without any visual defects?

It has never been dropped into the water but has hit the concrete 2-3x but that was way before this happened. Touch screen has no visual defects.
 
I suppose the connections on your motherboard might got loosened because of the fall. Parts that are soldered need to be observed under the microscope etc to see if they are ok. If there's a slight disconnection between them and the motherboard, this may be the cause. I would ask a professional technician to check the phone.
 
Actually, I have that sam problem, back and menu buttons started failing until they stopped working completely. So last night I flashed back to stock and did a factory reset (Important step, it removes "rooted" status in download mode), and took it to service today because it's still under warranty. And as a replacement until my beloved L70 comes back,they gave me Galaxy S3 lol :D
 
I also would not cry if I had to use s3 for a while, but there's risk that I would start searching for s3 custom roms, because of the addiction I developed with my L70:D It's even more dangerous since there's Nameless 3 for s3 :cool:
Lets hope your L70 will be back soon ;)

I must admit I'm tempted a bit Especially because of the Lagsung's LagWiz bloatware :D
