Touch Calendar not syncing to Google Calendar

When I add an event using Touch Calendar on my phone (HTC Desire Z) it is listed in a green font, and does not get replicated to my Google Calendar. If I enter an event in my Google Calendar on the web it does get replicated on my phone however. I have Touch Calendar configured to show all calendars.
Can anyone advise on what I'm doing wrong?

What calendar are you adding events to, i.e. in the add event screen in Touch Calendar, what are you selecting in the box under "Calendar"? If you are selecting "PC Sync" then that's not a Google calendar, so it won't sync to your Google account.

I managed to find an answer. I hadn't noticed the "calendar" field on the event data entry form (particularly as it doesn't appear on the event editing form). When I entered a new event I tried specifying that it should go into my Google calendar, and it now seems to remember that as a default.
Thanks for your reply.

I have both, PC Sync & Google Calendar, and both set to sync - but my events are not uploading to Google Calendar, which is set to sync to Outlook, so anything I load in Touch is not making it to Outlook.
