Help Touch Key light always on-even with correct setting

Hi all,

Since I updated to lollipop my touch key lights are always on. The settings are still on 'always off'. When my screen is locked, they come on and off randomly. 1-3 seconds on, then 3-45 seconds off. At first I thought the blinking was tied to the motion settings, but turned out not to be the case. Anyone else experience this and/or know what's up and how to fix?

Same sh** on my 8.4 LTE, confused too.

Solved the problem by turning "on" the "smart stay" function
