i bought htc couple of months ago and touch screen is not working properly what should i do?

I'd suggest talking to HTC, since unless you got it wet this should be covered by the warranty (1 year in the USA, 2 years in the EU).
My only experience of HTC warranty repairs was getting one phone fixed in the UK last year. That was very quick and straightforward.
