Help Touch Screen Problem (lagging + other issues)

Hi

The other day my phone screen has started to act strangely. Firstly, when scrolling down it's started to lag a little, sometimes it scrolls down a bit and then goes up a bit (it's sometimes really hard to read an article etc. as you can't always scroll to the area you want to read). It also seems to be zooming in on it's own sometimes, without me pinching. Furthermore, when scrolling it sometimes selects things by itself instead of scrolling up/down.

I don't think it can be moisture that's caused this problem, as I never take it into the bathroom when/after having a shower, however it's possible a little bit of steam could go into the room my phone is in, when I exit the bathroom (I don't think this is causing it, though).

Oh, it also has started to take screenshots on it's own.

Please give me some advice as this problem is really annoying! If it needs a repair, what sort of price do Samsung charge?

You can try to rule out a software problem by first clearing the cache partition from the recovery menu (probably won't help with this but you never know). Next would be a full factory reset, after backing up your data of course.
If the problem goes away after that, great it was something wacky in a file someplace. If it's still there, you've confirmed it's hardware which in this case sounds like a faulty digitizer but could be other things. At this point you would need to make the repair/replace decision.
