Touchdown vs. stock

I noticed that the biggest battery killer on my phone (even with push disabled) is Touchdown.

I bought it before I realized that Android has a stock app that connects to Exchange. So, am I gaining THAT much more with Touchdown?

You get the ability to separate your email out and have your regular email in one app and your work in another?

I have tried both on a couple different phones and touchdown has been more stable. On my current phone and past phone the native client has stopped receiving mail randomly and requires me to delete my account and re-create. I have never had this problem with touchdown.

If i have push off, threes no drain at all with touchdown for me. Even with push on, drain doesn't seem to be more than other email apps.
