This is my first post, so hello first of all
I've been reading through a lot of the forum and there's a lot of useful stuff on here. I'm really grateful I found it, because the user manuals/resource books I've found are pretty vague and unhelpful.
I've had my G1 for only a week, loving it mostly (apart from the battery and T9 text issues that have already been extensively bitched about).
Then last night when I went to browse the web the touchscreen started acting funky. First the orientation refused to flip to landscape (prompting me to search all the accelerometer posts here -- no help). Then when I tried touching links or adjusting the view, the screen got all jittery and jerky. But moving my finger while an inch away from the screen made the text scroll up and down (static electricity?) Significant or not, I had just finished recharging it and in fact still had it plugged in to get to the 2 hours over that's suggested to optimize battery life.
Just rebooting the phone (not resetting, and also unplugging) seemed to fix it, but since it's only a week old I'd like to get this addressed while it's still in warranty if necessary. Anyone else come across this at all? I appreciate any input
