I don't own an android yet, but I'm trying to determine how useful the track ball is compared to a D-pad when using a touchscreen phone.
What little I've played with the "my touch" in the store, I noticed the track ball isn't really a mouse, or a "pointer". It seems to behave more like a "smooth" D-pad. Sound about right? Or is there some mode/feature that enables a "pointer" in apps (like the browser)?
Switching gears a bit, does someone have a "big chart" that lists shows the specs (ram, rom, camera, screen size, etc.) of the various android phones side-by-side?
