Track information via AVRCP 1.3

Hello fellow Android people,

I need help getting my HTC One X (running Cyanogen Mod 10.2) to send metadata to my car HU. I have a 2013 Kia Rio, and Kia have confirmed the HU is AVRCP 1.3 compliant. However, no information other than the name of the phone displays on the HU.

Referring back to old threads from 2012 I have tried a variety of players (including Pandora) and re-tagging my music, but to no avail. I have also installed Botifier but that doesn't push notifications to the HU either.

This is driving me crazy! Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions?

Are you positive that Cyanogen 10.2 has AVRCP 1.3 working?
I Googled a bit, and it seems it's not.
