How do I transfer the apss on my phone to my tablet and vice versa to be installed if missing on opposite device?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums. Hopefully I can help you with your problem.
A good app that I use id APK Share. It can be found on Google Play. You can either choose to share the apps via bluetooth or you can choose to save them to the save folder and then transfer them via sd card or computer to the other device. Then use a file explorer, locate the app, tap on it and choose to install with the package installer.
You can also use Titanium Backup to transfer multiple apps at one time. That is usually the route I take. I just transferred 30 + apps from my old phone to my new phone.
Keep in mind, you need to be rooted to use some of the apk transfer apps too.
