Transfer Album Artwork from iTunes?

AgnOStic

Lurker
Is there a way to
Transfer album artwork from
iTunes to Nexus?

Simply moving songs
With the "File Transfer" app
Doesn't seem to work.

The songs all copy
Over successfully, but
The default artwork...

Isn't exactly
What I would call eye candy.
Surely there's a way?

Maybe an option
Exists on Nexus itself
To download the art?

I have never had trouble with android reading album art added in iTunes.

How do you add it? I highlight the music, right click >> get info and then copy paste the art into the album art box. Alternatively you can login to the store and have iTunes find the art for you automatically.

Once you've got it set up like that, just putting the files on the phone has been enough for the art to show for me.

I would dump iTunes, set up mediamonkey instead.
If you need to get album art there is a button to press that will get it from the internet, usually you get a choice of which art to apply.
It will sync with the N7 just fine.

There are lots of other programs too - doubletwist, airsync etc..

I can't tell you how many times I had to repair the album covers for my music as I moved from device to device. Seems every new player wants to convert the music files and screw up the artwork and even iTunes updates does screwy things too. Even the few songs I test loaded into my N7 have half the covers missing.
