Help transfer data from s24g to s5

[Android Question]

I Just upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S2 4G to a S5. How do I transfer my messages and calendar and memos to the new S5. Using Kies 3 would not work for the S24G, so I installed Kies 1. That connected the old phone all ok, but I can;t access messages or calendar or memos, only photos (which I managed to back up and transfer all ok). The Samsung website won't even let me login to make a Live Chat session. Grhhh, need some help please TIA
