Transfer files to SD Card

I'm trying to transfer files to my sd card. But it seems that the creation date of some files ( like whatsapp pictures and videos ) are changed by the last modification date / transfer date. So my photo album is completely disorganized, photos and videos are organized by the actual transfer date... and I've been looking for a solution...
I also noticed that some pictures do keep the correct creation date, files taken with the cellphone camera for example. ( DSC )
Please help me!!!
Info: Sony Xperia Z1. New sd card.
Files are being transfered from a MacBook Pro.
