I have a 2012 Nexus 7 tablet. I need to transfer X plane from my PC to the Nexus 7. I dont have enough gigs a month to download it on the tablet. How can I do this via usb...??

If the PC is Windows based, you just need the proper USB drivers to match your phone.

Then usually you can use Windows Explorer file mangers to just copy paste.

I like the Windows app called TeraCopy best, it don't crap out and fail like WinExplode does.

it can halt, let you skip a file, or skip all that don't match something, and then it continues on...

i should have said... I use Ubuntu..
Have you got the MTP support software installed in the OS? If you haven't, you should find it in the Ubuntu repo. I believe it's called libMTP, Linux requires it to mount and use Android and other MTP devices.

Ubuntu may not have installed MTP support by default because of Microsoft patent issues with it.

I don't know to be frank, I use a Mac. Possibly someone else seeing this might know, also the Ubuntu Forums might have some threads about this.
