how do I transfer info from android phone to android phone

It depends what info you're talking about: contacts and calendar, IF synced with Google, will auto-restore. As will most of your apps when you log into the new phone (provided you use the same Gmail account to log in). App DATA will not be restored: nor will the call log or SMS/MMS messages. There are backup and restore apps in Play that can restore some of these things from the cloud, but count it as a pleasant surprise if they work when going from one device to a different one.
You will need to set the new phone up: Settings, ringtones, notifications, and homescreens. Adopting a new phone is a bit of a chore... but once it's all done you will most certainly enjoy it
