Transfer of program

Hi, my friend has a Glwiz GLBOX receiver, basically a tv box that shows middle eastern tv shows and movies, and I didn't want to spend $500 on the receiver so I was wondering if it's possible to buy a cheap tv box that has android or nothing installed in it, and transfer the program from the GLBOX to the tv box I want. Any help would be great.

Probably extremely difficult or impossible. Their software is proprietary to their devices, don't think it's just an app you can pull-out and install on another device.

Yeah I figured it would be nearly impossible too but I wanted to see if anybody has any experience or thought about this.
