Transfer Upgrades

I recently took advantage of verizon's site error and was able to upgrade while keeping unlimited data. The only caveat is that I stole another lines upgrade, a line that has the 2gb data plan. I worry that when my line is due in a few months and that line will take my upgrade, will I then be forced off unlimited data because they're taking my upgrade? Some reps have said yes and some have said no. Any experience or know-how about this is appreciated!

Yeah, I've heard both yes and no also. Some have said if I do anything at all with my upgrade from my unlimited line, be it use on that line or transfer to another line, it will count as an upgrade on the unlimited line and force a tiered plan on it. Others have told me it is OK to move the eligibility to another line without damage to unlimited. Who knows...


Will be using my wife's dumbphone upgrade tomorrow to do the switch to an iPhone 5s at an Apple store.
