Transfer WiFi network passwords to new phone

Hi,

I have just switched over to an Oppo Reno 2 from a OnePlus 6. I have just set up and transferred everything over using my Google account but have noticed that only around 15 of my WiFi networks have transferred out of 275 which I had on the old phone.

I don't want to have to re-type all the passwords again as I thought it should have transferred with the Google account.

Is there anyway of transferring the saved networks over automatically? TIA

How did you transfer them to your Google account? Usually when I use Android's backup apps and settings, all my networks restore properly. Of course I don't have quite as many as you do.

Don't they automatically get saved in my Google account? I just signed into my Google account on the new phone and synced it

Things like contacts and gmail would but not necessarily apps or settings. Go to settings>system>advanced>backup and make sure it's enabled. This would be on your OnePlus 6. Also, keep in mind that if the old version of Android is a higher version than the new phone, it might not complete a restore, or if they are too many versions separated.
