Hello,

I need to tranfer contacts/data from Symbian to Android and I am not sure how to that.. Perhaps I can transfer contacts as business cards somehow but I am really not sure how to transfer calendar data easly via bluetooth or by cable if it is neccessary?

Thank you very much in advance, it is urgent!

Cheers;)
Adi

Can your symbian send the entire address book via Bluetooth, or just one contact at a time? Or if it can export the address book to a vcf file then the android Contacts app can import that. Syncing contacts with your gmail account would also let the android sync with them.

For the calendar, if you can export it to a Google calendar then the droid can just sync with that over the air. Otherwise if you can export it to ics file(s) then while the stock calendar app may not be able to import those (cannot on my phone, but a manufacturer-tweaked one might) there are other apps which can (Business Calendar, for example).

I don't know anything about android<->PC sync tools unfortunately, so can't suggest solutions of that sort, but someone else may.

its easy for contacts. setup google account on symbian phone by using "sync and backup" in settings, and once account is setup, enable contact export, (see if there is option for calendar as well). once done with backup, setup same google account in android and activate sync from contacts or settings
