Transfering Files from Pc problem ? Help

Hi , I'm a newbie and just bought my first smart phone , Htc one xl .
I'm trying to transfer pic's etc from my Pc onto the phone as Ive read on the how too's.
but comes up file too deep on my Pc & won't let the file or pis go across to phone . It works on Dropbox but not sure I like that program .

I cannnot get Htc syc to work so given up on that even after intalling uninstalling several times , so now just using usb diskdrive way .

Any thoughts ?

You can simply transfer files using the HOX as a pen drive, until unless you want to sync the phone with existing files, when you need to use sync.

Have a look at FolderSync.

I use it for my home network shares via WiFi
