Transferring folders between sd cards

I have some folders on one sd card and want to transfer them to another without using a computer. Is this possible? They're photos which I have backed up to Google, but not the folders containing them.

Does your phone, or a friends phone, have an SD card slot?

If yes and the phone has enough free space, you can copy the folder to your phone then insert the other SD card and copy the folder from the phone to SD card.

Yeh, I've done it without a computer. Had a USB card reader connected via OTG, and then used the phone's file manager to copy all the contents from the SD inside to the one on the OTG.

How do I get a card reader? I guess you mean it reads sd cards. How do I tell if this S5 has otg? It's probably not new enough for that. If it doesn't, is there a way to back add it?

Yeh, the Galaxy S5 supports USB OTG. You'll need an OTG adapter cable and a USB SD card reader. These are available from Amazon most likely

Will the card reader work if the other phone is dead? It still has its sd card. I don't know what's the matter with the "new" S5. Just this morning it showed that it was charging after I plugged it in, but I left it for hours that way and it's not doing anything.

I have used Google Drive to move files.
My latest phone was more or less backed up from there.
