Transferring photos from camera to tablet

For my old Samsung tablet, I had a USB adapter. It allowed me to plug an SD card reader into the tablet. I could use that to transfer my photos from my camera's SC card to the tablet while traveling. It allowed me to organize and edit my photos as I went from place to place without carrying a computer.

How does one manage this with the S2 9.7? Would love to get one for my next trip.

I have used a USB adapter to transfer photos from my camera's SD card to my S2.

It worked using the native apps, file manager, to copy the photos from the SD card to my micro SD in my tablet. Then I used the gallery to view.
No problems.

I have used an adapter to transfer from my camera's SD card to my tablet's micro SD. Just used the native file manager to copy and paste. Worked great.
Used the normal gallery to view.
The adapters work on the S2. You might need to check the USB de-bugging if you have an issue.

I've successfully used on OTG cable with my S2 but haven't tried any kind of card reader. The OTG cable worked just as Lateck described.

For me, it is just plain super simple to use ASUS File Manager.

You set up shared folders just once, from then on all you do is open the app, click on Images/Files, etc....

then Network, and pick out the device that you want to transfer it to.
Each must be on the same WiFi network. Works a treat, and it is so damn fast.... no cables, none of that horrendously long time waiting and waiting for the devices to find all the files on the other device.....

ASUS presents you the last thing added first in each category.... You click on that file/pix and then 3 dot menu, then Copy To:
and select the folder to drop that file on.

I can do it in 3 seconds flat.
I can't even find my USB cables in 3 seconds.

Yeah I use Solid Explorer the same way. As long as everything is on the same network it's fast and easy.
